Apple store vs. amazon – Advantages to buying at Amazon vs. Apple Store or where best buy?

Amazon is an authorized reseller of iPods and as such (probably based on their sheer volume of sales) are able to offer the iPod for less than Apple’s MSRP(Manufacturer’s suggested retail price). Apple’s prices are like ‘sticker’ on a car.

Amazon is also accepting orders for the iPod Touch 4G 32GB model which is selling for the most cheapest price $215 (Save 14$ 6%), however, unlike Apple, Amazon does not charge you taxes, so you save a good 25-30$ on your order through Amazon.

The only advantage I see in Apple store that you can get a free personalized engraving on the back. There are some things that Apple will NOT engrave into an iPod, because it might offend some people, but I think it’s still worth it.
